happy holidays!

We were so excited to do our holiday photos this year, that we actually got them done a bit ahead of schedule. It was certainly a challenge with both Finn and Hannah (and Josh’s ‘I hate pictures’ face), but we did the best we could before Finn had had enough.

I think I got a few gems in there, though!

Happy holidays!

Love,

Josh, Sara, Finn, Hannah, Mason and Annabelle

four months

It’s hard to believe but our little munchkin is four months old today. We did a little photo shoot to commemorate the occasion, and you know me, I couldn’t help but share them.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

kenny and stephanie

Newly engaged couple, Stephanie and Kenny asked me to do some portraits to honor their engagement. They are getting married in September at a winery in Temecula. Stephanie choose a favorite spot of theirs in San Clemente, and we met this Sunday for our session.

I had a wonderful time getting to know them, and traipsing all around the beach for these memorable shots. It was a dream to work with such a gorgeous couple who are as friendly and fun as they could be.

I hope you both love them, and best wishes on your upcoming marriage!

sweet girl

I had the pleasure of photographing miss Payden again this weekend to capture her seventh month in this world. She is the sweetest little thing with the happiest disposition, and it certainly made it fun to catch her laughing at her mommy at daddy while they “performed” to get her to smile for me.

Of course she had a friend along to help keep her company….

And we had a few wardrobe changes in between… including this “flower child” inspired little number…

Isn’t she a sweethart? It was such fun to play at the park with these three. Thanks Adam and Dee!

a little biased

So I know I am a little biased, but is this not the cutest baby in the world? Meet my nephew Ryder York….

ryder1

Isn’t he sweet? This little fella gave us all quite a scare with a four week early delivery, and then somehow managing to get the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck during birth. He was rushed away (without a first breath) and taken to the NICU. But he is quite a fighter. He made it, and although he is a little jaundiced, he is getting stronger each day and was finally able to come home with mom and dad.

ryder4

ryder2ryder3I was happy to use my “new” vintage suitcases as props for tonights shoot. I just love how they came out. I put his daddy’s shirts inside to add some cushion for his sweet little tush.

ryder5And I’m always a fan of naked babies in beanies. :o)

ryder6Ryder wasn’t thrilled about being naked for all these pictures, but I think we managed to keep him happy for most of them. These last two he is in his daddy’s arms. (I think he might also be threathening me with his fist, as he had had enough of my camera and these were the last shots of the day).

I’m such a proud auntie. He’s a handsome baby and he is a little talker. He coos and makes sweet little noises when you talk to him and while he’s sleeping. Just seeing these images, my cup runneth over.
