Merry Christmas!

I wanted to wish each and every one of you a very merry Christmas! Josh, Hannah, and I (and the kitties) will be spending the holidays with our family and friends and hope each of you will be doing the same!

Christmas eve will be spent with my Dad’s side first… then off to Josh’s parent house for dinner. And Christmas will be at Josh’s grandparents house for breakfast and then dinner later at my house. It will be two full days of family and good food! Just my kind of celebration! :)

I can’t wait to eat all of the great food. Josh is doing a prime rib this year on his BBQ, so we are looking forward to that! I am even making a few things … spinach artichoke dip, deviled eggs, and apple cider… (which says a lot because JOSH is the cook in our family!).

I’m sorry I didn’t get to share any decor photos this Christmas of our home, but when I looked around the house at my decorations (which are all the same as last years), I couldn’t think of any clever new ways to photograph them for you to see! I will try to get some pictures of the house on Christmas to share on the blog!

In case I haven’t told you all in awhile, I really appreciate all of the comments you leave me, and your friendship as well! I feel blessed to have such an extended network of friends who lift me up, and support me in so many ways! Merry Christmas to all of you!

The Pannells

In addition to doing Morgan’s Christmas photos, I also took some for my sister Denise. These are a few from that session that I wanted to share:

I think my sisters are my best photography customers (or least the most frequent!). But I don’t mind the practice, and I love when they are pleased with the photos; it always makes me feel good.

The Liti Family

My sister Morgan helped me take some family photos this year of Josh and I for our Christmas cards, and in return I snapped a few of her and her husband Mike, and their baby, Lani. :) I’ll share my pictures with you in a day or two, but today I wanted to share a few of the Liti’s.

Don’t they look so sweet all dressed up for the holidays?!!

Wyatt Envy…..

It’s no secret around here that I want a baby…. most of the year I can hold back the envy, but the holidays always seems to bring those feelings to the surface. This year is no exception. Several of my friends are delivering new bundles of joy and my extended family has had more than one pregnancy announcement this year. However this year brings new light to those baby announcements…. I am able to see them brand new, and capture moments like these for their mommies…..

Meet Wyatt…. the cutest little boy I have ever seen….. he was a preemie and was around 5 lbs when he was born, so even though he is about a month and a half old here, he is still as cute and as tiny as he can be.

His parents are so sweet and they are first timers, so we had a blast getting him dressed up and undressing him for our shoot!

Don’t you want to pinch his little bum?

Isn’t he so cute? And sessions like these are making me so excited for all the babies coming into my own family soon… and hopefully one will make his or her way to me soon enough! I apologize in advance for the day that it finally happens, because this blog just may become a shrine to that lucky little one!

Feeling honored….

This very cool photography site asked to interview me and has featured my interview of their blog this week.

Pieces of the Picture.

I was excited and honored since the blog author is an amazing photographer! :)

Thank you Tommy for the interview!
