progress is made…

Yesterday we spent a full day working on our house. We got some more of the soffiting done, and started and finished the new porch railing. The house looks much better  and so much closer to "complete" now that the railing is done. I am so happy with the way it came out. Here are some pictures of our day….

This first one is how the house has looked for the last six months or so…. (Uhhhg!)

Almost complete…..

House

All finished…. (At 8:00 at night!)

We still have to do the brick work in front of the deck (so you can’t see the underneath any more), the sidewalks, paint, finish off the halogen light fixtures in the ceiling, add corbels, etc…. but she has come so far already.

So you have some idea…. this is what we started with….

Before

I love when all your plans start coming together in the final stages… it’s so much fun to start all the finishing touches….

DENISE & HEATHER - We absolutley love the look of your blog and your house is absolutely gorgeous. Harlequin and numbers? Two of our favorites! We use a lot of both in our painted furniture. Just finished a piece for a friend with numbers that will be featured on our blog soon.
