Tracey Leber

There are only seven short days left until the Creatively Made Home course begins. So far I have shared sneak peeks at what Kimberly, Jennifer, and myself will bring to the course, so today I wanted to give you a peek at what Tracey Leber will be sharing.

Tracey owns a lovely online shop that I had the pleasure of helping her design, called French Larkspur. It’s a shop filled with items that inspire and delight, especially since Tracey manages to stock the shop with frequent visits to the brocantes throughout France.

As you can imagine, Tracey’s home is equally as awe-inspiring. Her use of salvaged materials, subtle shades of white and playful pops of pale color are stunning to look at.

Tracy’s project videos will share things like how to incorporate salvaged finds into your home…

She will show you how to make home made gifts like sugar scrubs and package them for gift giving….

And she’ll show you how to add small details to a table when entertaining guests…

These are just a glimpse at a few of the projects Tracey will be covering. To view these and the rest you will need to register for the Creatively Made Home course. Hope to see you there!

Just a Peek

So far I’ve shared some sneak peeks of our Creatively Made Home course that starts in little more than a week (on October 22nd) by sharing what Kimberly Taylor and Jennifer Rizzo are working on. But today I’d like to give you a small peek at what I’ve been working on these last two months.

All five of the hosts (myself included) will be sharing these main points (among other things)….

Our personal journey with our home and family.

Our design influences.

How we found our own styles and how we began incorporating them.

Our favorite recipes.

New photos of our homes.

10 project videos in different areas that are true to how we incorporate our own creativity and passions in everyday living.

Here is a peek at some of the videos I’ve been working on….

I’ve redecorated my office since I last shared pictures and I’ll show you how I decorate the walls and why I place things where I do.

I’ll show you how to create your own graphics in Adobe Photoshop that you can use with the video Jennifer Rizzo is sharing on how to print graphics onto fabric to make your own pillows, bags, etc. (I will also provide a downloadable graphic I create in the video for you to use).

I will show you how I choose objects and arrange them for display.

I’ll talk about my camera and give some photography tips, as well as show you how I edit them in Photoshop.

And I’ll show you how I created the crib bumper (shown here) for Finn’s nursery and provide a downloadable guide so you can make your own.

This is honestly just a peek at the videos I’ll be sharing with all of the participants in this course. There is a lot more coming from each of us that I just know you will love.

I am so excited about this course. The diversity in each of our gifts and wide array of styles make this course something truly unique.

Jeanne has been working on a brand new site for the course that she will launch next week complete with chat rooms, forums, videos, photos and much more… this is one you won’t want to miss.

Hi Sara,

I can’t wait for this course to start. I signed up on the first day it was offered. All of the instructors are going to be great.

Brenda - October 12, 2012 - 7:52 am

Me too! Waiting with baited breath, whatever that means! :)

Carol - October 16, 2012 - 7:26 pm

Wonderful images. I love the old shelf that I assume must be from an old bakery. I must find one for myself.

Thanks Carol. It’s actually an old industrial shoe rack.

Jennifer Rizzo

Friday I shared some sneak peeks of the amazing content Kimberly Taylor will be bringing to our Creatively Made Home e-course. And if that wasn’t enough to entice you, I am here today to share even more with peeks from the talented, do-it-yourself guru… Jennifer Rizzo.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jen in person at the very same Farm Chicks show where I met Kimberly Taylor. (I’m telling you being brave enough to travel that week really paid off for me!) She is as lovely in person as she appears on her blog. Jen is kind, funny, full of ideas and know-how, and chalked full of inspiration. Just look at her amazing home!

What is truly amazing is the amount of work Jen herself has put into making it look this way and for a fraction of what you think it might cost. She is so talented at what she does, you can’t help but be impressed.

Here is a peek into just a few of the ten project videos Jen will be sharing…

Do-it-yourself curtains made from tablecloths.

DIY Anthropology inspired lampshades.

DIY Jute webbing buckets.

 DIY printed bags and pillows.

All five of the hosts (myself included) will be sharing:

*Our personal journey with our home and family

*Our design influences

*How we found our own style and how we began incorporating it

*Favorite recipes and photos of our homes

*Have a live, online discussion with members of the course to ask whatever they wish about her style, home, passions.

*Share 10 project videos in different areas that are true to how we incorporate our creativity and passions in everyday living.

And each week we will pick one of YOUR homes (if you are registered) and all five hosts will give suggestions for your space based upon our style and experience.

I do hope that you will join us! Class begins October 22nd. Register now by sending payment through PayPal using the button in my sidebar, or click the link below to read more about the course and register now.
