On April 13th The Beehive hosted the Paws for Polish Wax-a-thon for the Helen Woodard Humane Society.  Dogs from all over San Diego, including a few adoptable pups, joined us as we raised money to be donated to Helen Woodard.   Shannon from All Creatures Services attended our Wax-a-thon at the Beehive to give our friendly four legged friends mini pedicures.   There was an assortment of blinged out dog collars, doggie couture tops, and bone shaped dog frames to put our one and only Spot out for display. The event was a blast to the dogs and dog lovers alike who took great care in dolling up their dogs. Thank you to all who participated! Be sure to check our website for more event photos.

Jessica Bowen- our newest front desk girl. She brings a refreshing sense of humor to the team. Jessica has ice skated for 10 years and her hair has been 7 different colors. So next time you stop in to The Beehive, you may want to ask Jessica what the next color on her list will be. Maybe a Beehive pink?

Vanessa - as the most recent esthetician to The Beehive, make sure you don't miss her! Vanessa likes to do charcoal and pencil drawings of faces. She is also into foreign languages. She loves listening to people speaking and singing in Portuguese.

Jessica Stone - Having two Jessica's in one salon could get a little crazy but luckily both Jessica’s are very easy to tell apart. While Jessica. B changes her hair every few weeks, Jessica S. sticks with her brown locks. She loves to travel and took 6 months off to travel the world. Jessica loves softball and is even on a co-ed softball team with her hubby. Jessica has been quoted as saying "I love to read, tell me your favorite book, and if I haven't read it, I will!"

So no matter what your likes may be, stop by the Beehive for some great conversations and oh yes – get a great wax, tan or lash tint while you are at it!
