How it began:

Sadie Olive began as a dream. When Sara Duckett and her husband purchased and began renovating their first home in 2002, she discovered her passion for decorating, and was quickly recognized for her abilities and unique style by friends and colleagues. It was through these compliments that Sara gained the confidence she needed to pursue her dream of store ownership. Four years and two renovated homes later, Sara decided to put her passion for shopping and interest in interior design to work for her.

Not having the financial resources or business knowledge to start a physical store on her own, she used her self-taught computer skills to design and create an online boutique. Although the store has been open for little more than a year, Sara’s eye for detail and flair for finding unique décor quickly launched her store into the “favorites” of many online shoppers.

Her feel for French furnishings, antique accessories and country chic contrivances makes decorating your own home effortless, and affordable. Now, her once petite store has become a blossoming boutique for specialty shopping of all kinds. Whether you prefer hand-crafted journals, fabulous flea market finds, or archetypal accoutrements, you are bound to find something you can’t resist at Sadie Olive.

A word from the owner:

As corny as it may sound, Sadie Olive really has been like a dream come true for me. I get to shop for a living finding treasures for my customers, and I love every minute of it.

I would like to personally thank each of you who make it possible for me to do so, by shopping on this website and by supporting me with your emails. You are more important to me than I could ever fully express.

Thank you,
