My little boy really isn’t a baby anymore, and since his fourth (gulp) birthday is around the corner (in July) I decided it was time for his room to get a bit of a makeover in terms of decor and accessories. Instagram has been a big source of inspiration for me lately and the look I tried to achieve in here was directly influenced by some of my favorite accounts.
I started by changing out the light fixture, which was a white chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids before, and I always felt it was a little too girly for Finn. I changed out the crystal knobs on the white armoire back to the original antiqued silver knobs that came with it. I also removed the crown moulding shelves and repainted the walls in Swiss Coffee. I discovered Schoolhouse Electric while searching for light fixtures for Finn’s room, and fell in love with the Work Hard and Be Nice to People Print. It was just such a perfect message for him, and went so well with the look I was trying to achieve. I just love how bright and bold his room is now. And he loves it too. I had a lot of fun working on it.
Now on to the fun stuff: here is a source list for some of the things I purchased:
