Finn was asked recently to “model” a few shirts from Room to Romp, a cute little Etsy shop that specializes in boys clothing. I had so much fun dressing him up and doing little photo shoots with him. (Although I can’t say he had as much fun as I did). But I did keep each session pretty short and I spaced them out over several weeks so he didn’t get too sick of my camera.
Anyway, I wanted to share as I think they came out really cute.
This was the first of the four mini-shoots we did. Sandy makes these little shirts which were inspired by a vintage layette pattern from the 1960’s and uses mens shirts for the fabric. She then will sew on and hand embroider, a name or saying. Finn’s of course, has his name and I loved the black and white stripe she chose for us.
Next we tried a series of tee shirts all with different hand embroidered images on a linen patch. I love the stair picture above. It’s one of my favorites.
A few weeks later after Finn and I both recovered from an awful cold… we took these pictures (with the tricycle tee and wagon).
And last but not least, we went to the park with Finn’s “Tot Rod” and modeled one last shirt. Isn’t it amazing how much he’s grown over a few short weeks? He had his first official hair cut this day too, so his fuzzy toupee is gone. ;)
Thanks for letting me share and show off my gorgeous little man. Be sure to check out Room to Romp‘s Etsy shop. Sandy is working on getting these cute shirts added to her shop very soon, so be on the look out.
Happy Friday everyone!
