Hello again. I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday with your sweethearts. I had a lovely day with my sweet Finn, and a nice evening with Josh.
I’m back today to show you the next room on my home tour, which is my home office. I did a post last year about this room which has even more pictures of this space. You can see that post by clicking here.

This space is really about function, but I do try to keep it pretty with vintage storage pieces and decor. Bubble wrap hangs on the wall near the scale, and the table in the center acts as a packaging station for me.

There are a ton of storage pieces which hide away clutter and office necessities. Most of my storage pieces are things you would find in a garage, but I love the look of the beat up wood finish most of them have, and I use them to add character to my newer furniture, like the desk and shelving system from Pottery Barn. The ottoman sits beside my chair as a place for my kitties to curl up as they like to keep me company while I work.

The cameras are something I collect, and I keep them right beside me while I work to remind me of my passion for photography.

The silhouettes are vintage finds, with the exception of the top center, which is of Finn’s perfect little profile.
The desk lamp I purchased in San Juan Capistrano about nine or ten years ago, at a store called Regalo. It adds a much needed feminine touch to the space, I think.
Thanks for peeking in. There’s only one more stop on this tour, Finn’s room. I hope to be back in a day or two with a post sharing some recent pictures of his space. :o)

I love this room! Boxes with little drawers are the best. I am in the process of converting a bedroom into a office/studio and this is so inspiring! Thank you for sharing.

I am thoroughly envious of this space! I have an office but it is neither this pretty or functional! I think this is my favorite room on the tour so far…but it was a hard choice. :)
Thanks for the tour – I’ve gotten loads of inspiration, especially on mixing looks and displaying things. Your home is truly lovely ~

I just love your office! When you wrote about it last year, I think that I pinned almost every picture to my craft room inspiration board on Pinterest. Thanks for sharing again.
I just love your home, and your office is FAB! I always love your photos of your home and your decorating style. My style usually has lots of color, but your home just makes me smile.
What a great space to work. I especially like the Star Thread cabinet and also your desk lamp.
Your rooms are gorgeous and very inspirational! I love them! Such beautiful pictures!
Functional and fabulous!!!

I love, love, love this room. Love the worn, vintage storage you’ve used. I have been trying to decide what to do with a space in my house, and you have inspired me!
Thanks so much for sharing.
That room is so exquisitely decorated you barely notice the computer screen. I’m usually into color, but I would do without for a calming office like yours!
You are right, the lamp softens the interior of the room in just the perfect amount.
