In Print

It isn’t very often that I get to see the elements I design for clients in print, so when Garrett of Farmstead sent me a package yesterday with his signature scent laundry soap and fabric softener I was pretty elated to see the labels that adorned them. I was instantly inspired to grab my big girl camera and style them with some vintage goodies.

I wanted to share on the blog because I am so proud of how they came out, and I had to brag a bit about how AMAZING my whole room smells with them in it. (Think freshly washed clothing air dried on a clothesline in the summer breeze…. perfection).  If you haven’t fallen in love with Farmstead just yet, take a peek at his vintage washed flannels… you won’t be disappointed.

Hi Sara, I haven’t visited around in a while and thought I’d pop over here for a look around.

Wow, Finn (it’s Finn, right?) has gotten so big and handsome. Time flies and your family photos at the Christmas tree farm are just darling.

Love your styling in this photo and the pretty packaging on the laundry soap is gorgeous too.

The packaging alone is worth buying the detergent.

Have a great week,

Thanks so much Lisa! Yes, Finn has grown like a weed. He will be 3 soon, I can hardly believe it. Thanks for visiting! Sara

The Holidays

Boy, it’s really been awhile since I’ve posted! The holidays came and went and here we are approaching February! I can’t say that many exciting things have happened since Thanksgiving, but I figured I’d share a few pictures from December of our adventures:

Love all the pictures!! So sweet!! What collar are you using??

As Thanksgiving fast approaches, I can’t help but be reminded to be thankful for all the blessings in my life. An ornery 2 year old tops that list, but there are so many other things I need to be consciously thankful for:

- a business that has survived almost seven years, a husband who provides for me and cares for me deeply, an astounding eighteen years with my furry little angel of a cat, my two other furry babies – Hannah and Mason, a home that keeps us warm and safe, the people who support my small business and refer others to me -

In all honesty, business has suffered a bit these last two years as I adjusted to life as a mom and had to refocus some of my energy elsewhere. I no longer advertise, and rely solely on word of mouth and referrals for design clients and sales.

YOU are literally keeping this dream alive for me – and for that, I am thankful.

As a small token of my appreciation, I’d like to offer a 15% discount to any purchases made between now and the end of November. Please use coupon code THANKYOU at checkout. Valid on both this site, and in our Etsy shop. (excludes design work).

I hope that each and every one of you has continued blessings in your own lives. Happy Thanksgiving to you!

(p.s. this is clearly not a complete list of all that I am thankful for – but I hope that’s pretty obvious.)
